Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) in India on 20th November, and in this regard the South Korean company has sent invites to the media to confirm the launch event of the device. Samsung Galaxy A9 with four rear camera sensors was initially unveiled at an event held in Kuala Lumpur last month, and the company marketed the device as the “world’s first rear quad camera” phone.
Samsung Galaxy A9 also sports an Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and packs up to 8GB of RAM. Samsung invite reads a “4X Fun” in a bold font to highlight the quad rear camera setup smartphone. Meanwhile Flipkart exclusively created a landing page, indicating the Galaxy A9 (2018) will be exclusive to his website.
The 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Infinity Display is based on dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) boast of Quad Rear Camera Setup, with the main camera offering 24MP shooter with a bright f/1.7 lens, suitable for daylight and nighttime shots. While the The tele camera offers 2x optical zoom over the main camera and captures 10MP images, the 120° ultra-wide angle camera sports an 8MP sensor and finally, a 5-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
